Jaguar keys can be expensive to replace, and take a long time to order from the dealer. We can come to you and replace them at the roadside saving you time and money.
The most common problems we see with Jaguars are
Lost keys – we can replace them and block any missing Jaguar transponder keys and remotes
Keys locked in the boot
Key not working- the remotes are prone to failure, we can fix this for you. Since all Jaguars have an alarm, a failed remote is very inconvenient
Key won't turn in the door or the ignition lock is jammed – Jaguars use a Tibbie key system. Whilst these are robust in that they are very resistant to breakage, over time they wear down. If this happens, you will find you can lock the door with your key, but not unlock it again! If this happens we can cut you a new key and rebuild the lock if necessary.
Lost or failed smart keys
We can replace new style proximity or “smart “ keys used on the jaguar XF and all modern Jaguar vehicles, where the dealer would need to replace the KVM security module, we do not have to.
